Andrew Bek
Tax, Accounting and Corporate Affairs Managing Partner
Andrew is one of the partners spear heading the tax and corporate affairs of the Firm. He started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co, Malaysia and was there from 1988 to 1997. He joined a manufacturing company for a short period from 1997 to 1998. Andrew returns to audit and attached to Ernst & Young Malaysia from Jan 1999 to May 2007.During his tenor with Arthur Andersen & Co and Ernst & Young, he managed a portfolio of clients from various industries, including oil palm plantation, palm oil refinery, construction, trading, retails, manufacturing etc. He involved in Initial Public Offering (IPO) of a few clients including engagement in financial reporting to stock exchange.Andrew left the audit profession in 2007 and embarked as an investment director of a private equity company in Singapore from July 2007 to Jan 2020. During this period, he worked closely with issue managers/sponsors, corporate legal advisers as well as reporting accountants/auditors and had successfully listed a few of the investee companies on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX-ST) via IPO and RTO. Andrew was appointed and served as an Executive Director in two of the investee companies listed on the SGX-ST. Currently, Andrew also serves as an Independent Director of two other companies listed on the SGX-ST.
Celine Chan
Audit Partner
Celine has more than 15 years of public accounting and financial reporting experiences. She started her auditing career at Ernst & Young in their audit and assurance practice where she managed the statutory financial audits and assurance engagements of various large and medium sized public listed corporations and private limited companies across sectors such as hospitality, shipping, trading, manufacturing and education. During her employment with the Big 4, she was also involved in Reverse Takeover (RTO) exercise. After moving on to the mid-tier auditing firms, she had the opportunity to carry out internal audit for various non-profit organizations. In addition to her auditing experience, Celine also worked as a Finance Manager at a multi-national real estate corporation where she gained her commercial accounting experience.
Low Kah Buay
Senior Tax Consultant
Ms. Low had been in public practice for more than 30 years. She is a fellow member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) of SCTP. Ms. Low has vast experience in auditing of financial accounts in various industries including manufacturing, construction, trading, non-profit organizations, investment companies, etc. She also has experience in due diligence work of business acquisitions, certification work for charitable organizations, corporate secretarial and tax work. Ms. Low retired from audit practice in December 2022 and currently serves as Tax consultant in KWTH.
Angel Yang
Audit Assistant Manager
Angel has more than 7 years of audit and assurance experiences. She started his auditing career in Malaysia and later in the audit and assurance practice in Singapore. She manages a portfolio of clients from different industries including construction, manufacturing, trading, shipping, freight and transportation, food and beverage, resorts, media and telecommunications, non-profit organizations e.g. charities, association and societies, fund management (regulated by MAS), assets management, investment holdings, palm oil plantations, professional services, property development, etc.Her expertise includes statutory audit of small and medium sized enterprises, private limited companies, group audits, reviewing consolidated financial statements and the audit work papers of component auditors locally and overseas.
